Information Stewardship
This notice explains the information involved in reading the site, drafting a note and choosing to contact us by email.
Who is responsible
Bubblecactuszind Research Ltd is responsible for personal information it receives in operating bubblecactuszind.com. Our registered office is 14 Ocean Road, Southampton SO14 3TJ, United Kingdom; company number 14690528. Privacy enquiries can be sent to [email protected].
Reading the website
Loading a page necessarily sends connection information, such as your IP address, requested file and browser request headers, to the infrastructure delivering it. Hosting and security services may process access logs to deliver content, investigate faults and protect the service. We do not use the site’s supplied JavaScript to create advertising profiles, run analytics or collect precise location information.
The local message tool
The contact tool processes the name, reply email, subject and message you enter within the page on your device. Generating the preview, copying text or downloading a file does not submit the content to us. The tool does not store drafts in cookies or localStorage. Reloading or leaving the page may clear the draft, although your browser may independently retain form history.
Clipboard content and downloaded files remain subject to your device’s controls and other applications. Avoid drafting sensitive operational information on a shared device. You decide whether to send the prepared text through your email service.
When you email us
If you send a message, we receive its contents, your email address and associated email metadata. We use these to respond, assess corrections, maintain relevant editorial records and handle privacy or legal enquiries. Do not include unnecessary personal data, confidential vessel material or personal information about others.
Our usual legal basis for routine editorial correspondence and service security is legitimate interests: operating an informative website, answering enquiries and protecting communications. Where necessary, processing may instead be required to comply with a legal obligation or to take steps you request in relation to a contract. Where consent is required for a separate activity, it must be requested for that activity.
Sharing, retention and international processing
Hosting, email and technical support providers may process information where needed to deliver those services. We do not sell personal information. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We retain correspondence only for as long as reasonably necessary for its purpose, including relevant follow-up, correction records and legal requirements. The appropriate period depends on the nature of the enquiry; we do not keep a marketing database from contact messages. Where providers process information outside the United Kingdom, applicable transfer requirements must be met, including appropriate safeguards where required.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal information, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Rights are subject to statutory conditions and exceptions.
Email us with enough information to identify the relevant correspondence. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or another competent supervisory authority.

External websites and your email provider apply their own privacy practices. We cannot control their handling of information. Material changes to this notice will be reflected on this page. For browser storage information, read Browser Storage Choices.
