Reading Responsibilities

The atlas explains maritime technology. It does not determine whether a real passage, route amendment or manoeuvre is safe or appropriate.

Operator and scope

These terms apply to bubblecactuszind.com, operated by Bubblecactuszind Research Ltd, registered office 14 Ocean Road, Southampton SO14 3TJ, United Kingdom, company number 14690528. Contact: [email protected].

The website is provided for general educational information about AI marine navigation and decision-support technologies. Using it does not create a professional advisory, vessel-monitoring or emergency-support relationship.

Not operational navigation information

Articles, examples, tables and diagrams are not charts, sailing directions, notices to mariners, traffic assessments or approved passage plans. They must not be used to navigate, establish clearance, select a collision-avoidance action or replace required equipment, publications and procedures.

AI remains decision support in the context discussed here. Responsibility remains with the relevant qualified and accountable people under applicable law and procedures. Always use appropriate authoritative and current information for operational decisions.

Accuracy and availability

We aim to explain concepts carefully, but information may be incomplete, out of date or unsuitable for a particular context. Standards, regulations and technologies change. Check primary sources and current requirements rather than relying solely on a summary here.

We do not promise uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device or correction within a particular period. Pages and tools may be changed or withdrawn. Nothing on this site is a guarantee of fuel savings, compliance or a safe outcome.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site by attempting unauthorised access, introducing malicious code, disrupting its delivery or using its contact details for unlawful or abusive communications. Do not represent our content as an equipment approval or endorsement.

The local contact tool generates text on your device. You are responsible for reviewing it and deciding whether to send it through your own email application. Copying or downloading a message does not submit it to us.

Copyright and third-party material

Unless otherwise stated, original site text and design are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may read, link to and make reasonable personal reference copies. Statutory quotation and other lawful exceptions remain unaffected. Substantial republication or commercial reuse requires permission unless a separate licence applies.

Third-party names, standards and images remain subject to their respective rights. Linking to an organisation does not imply affiliation, approval or endorsement. External sites have their own terms, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.

Liability and mandatory rights

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and liability for loss arising from reliance on general educational content, including operational or commercial decisions based on it. This does not exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Law and questions

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights and jurisdiction protections applicable to you. Courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction except where mandatory law provides otherwise. Questions or concerns can be raised through Contact.
